Delano Association for the Developmentally Disabled, Inc. is a private non-profit corporation governed by a volunteer board of local civic leaders and advocates of the developmental disabilities community.
In order for effective and lasting activity to occur within any organization – activity that changes lives and communities there must be consistent, stable and visionary leadership at its top. The Board of Directors of Delano Association for the Developmentally Disabled has provided just that – year after year. These volunteers work in a culture of respect, trust and candor and an environment where challenging and difficult situations are faced with open and thoughtful minds. Throughout the years these incredible individuals have collectively directed the organization toward positive change and have been willing to take risks that have led to great rewards for the people we serve. The agency’s consumers, their families and the communities in which we work are beneficiaries of the steady direction provided by its cohesive and astute board.
