DADD holds firm to the conviction that all people have a right to do, to have, and to be – to have more, to do more and to be more. The purpose of the Achievement Center is to enable its clients to develop personal life goals which grow from a person’s dreams and aspirations of doing, having and being and then move toward achieving those goals while gaining knowledge and skills and understanding along the way. Around these person centered activities the Achievement Center also provides broader opportunities, services and supports to facilitate acquisition, maintenance and improvement of general and basic life
skills and social and personal behaviors to experience more meaningful lifestyles. This program provides a positive and supportive environment in the community of Delano where participants develop friendships and constantly enjoy new experiences. The majority of program participants spent most of their day in various locations throughout the community.
